Rustic + Romantic Connecticut Vineyard Wedding
From the Bride... Eric and I had the perfect summer Connecticut wedding. We were engaged for over two years, so had plenty of time to plan. Saltwater Farm Vineyard was the only venue we toured and we immediately knew it was the perfect casual but elegant setting for our special day. Living in California, my amazing mother and our wedding planner Sarah True from True Event handled many of the smaller details.
Our ceremony was performed between the vines by my middle school headmaster, Doug Lyons. My Maid of Honor sang “When you wish upon a star” before Eric and I recited our own vows to one another. The personal details of the ceremony were truly special. Cocktail hour on the patio was followed by dinner and dancing in the restored airplane hanger. We had spectacular New England summer weather and it was the day after the blue moon. Our wedding day could not have been any more perfect!
