I’m calling this trio of vignettes a New York City bridal session fairytale. From Bethesda Terrace to SOHO to Central Park, this sweet Bride is transported to each new scene in the most stunning of looks from Jaclyn Jordan New York‘s fall 2016 collection. From Jaclyn Jordan New York…In this shoot, we focused on the Fall 2016 Collection from Jaclyn Jordan New York. The collection was shot by the truly talented Carrie, of Carrie King Photography. Hair and makeup was designed by the flawless Esty, of Beauty by Esty Lipkind. The collection takes the you through three vignettes.
The first is at the iconic Bethesda Terrace, in Central Park. Here, our bride has a more classic, modern look. She is feeling quite consumed with the love for her fiance and coming union. Twirling on the terrace, strolling by the fountain and resting on the stairs; you see several looks for this classic beauty. Jaclyn was inspired by delicate laces and traditional silhouettes for the bride in this vignette.
The second vignette takes us to SOHO. This iconic neighborhood, with it’s chic reputation for all city girls, made a perfect background for the next journey. Here the bride is seen in sparkly accessories and gray tulle skirts. On the cobble stones, hopping up on the curb and waiting on the stoop; you see this city girl looking effortless on wedding day. Jaclyn was inspired by her life in NYC for the bride in this vignette.
The last vignette takes us back to Central Park. This time we are in the Conservatory Garden. Here, the bride is a bit more relaxed and whimsical. She is draped in silk tulle and soft laces. Walking through the gardens, enjoying the flowers and the romance of it all; this whimsical bride is the prettiest flower in the garden. Jaclyn was inspired by her Grandmother’s flower garden for this vignette.
The overall hair and makeup inspiration is for the understated. The Jaclyn Jordan New York bride loves a more natural approach to her makeup. Soft shades on the cheek and lip, create a timeless look. A little more dramatic eye, as seen in the SOHO look, is always loved as well.
