From Getting Married In Italy...The storytelling of this shooting was conceived as the screenplay of a movie, featuring charming Tuscany. This picturesque Italian region means not only vineyards, olive groves and rustic farmhouses, but also warm luxury and timeless charm.
The inspiration underlying the whole shooting comes from a flair of elegance and sophistication.
The set perfectly matching with our movie plot was Borgo Santo Pietro, a 13th century elegant villa with its charming, warm, neutral stones, velvets and trimmings, lavish gardens and scented lemon groves, sparkling crystal chandeliers and precious mirrors. The interiors of the villa feature hand-picked antiques, original open fireplaces, bespoke hand-carved beds and frescoed
walls.
We envisioned a love movie: an Italian love affair, a dreamy passionate feeling, a Renaissance-inspired bride, a contemporary Tuscan Madonna captured and struggled by a sensual 19th century gentleman. Gold and burgundy, blush and ochre, pale pink, nude and brown created the perfect palette to color our story. Those shades appear both in flower decorations and sweet delicatessen. The fragrances of peonies, roses, eucalyptus and heather blended with the smell of grapes, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries, red currant and pomegranate as in an ancient painting of a wedding banquet. Getting Married in Italy styled the wedding table with lace, gold cutlery, Versace china, gold trimmed glassware from Vetrerie di Empoli and bronze candle holders.
