For all you destination brides currently on the hunt for your perfect location, I’m going to go ahead and add the coast of Montenegro to your list. Think old world European charm paired with seaside views for days, making it the ultimate backdrop to say “I do.” Join me in THE VAULT for one absurdly gorgeous wedding set at this very spot, featuring photos from the lens of Sonya Khegay.
From Special Wedding…The wedding took place in Montenegro, to be precise in its most picturesque venue of Villa Milocer – the former summer residence of the royal family. What can be more romantic than a wedding ceremony in an olive orchard, under the arch of hop and roses, with the bride as beautiful as an unblown flower. Classical stone vases, peonies, David Austin roses, their rich scent floating in the air, the murmur of waves and the charming atmosphere of the ancient park – all these accompanied the yearned-for «Yes» of Oksana and Ruslan.
The terrace of the villa built in early 20th century offered amazing views. The table setting was well thought-out and embraced thinnest silk, floral arrangement and vases of the Palladio age, tenderest flowers, candles and fruit. Finally, as a keepsake of the marvelous event, a small bag with an embroidered rose on it was presented to each guest to symbolize this special day.
