From Infatuating Affairs...This elegant hometown wedding was perfection. Our bride chose to get married at the beautiful Historic Oakland mansion in her beloved hometown of Columbia, Maryland. The venue was just five short minutes from the home where she grew up and only two minutes from where she graduated high school. Inspired by her favorite colors as young girl, pink and purple, she stayed true to her love for pastels making this one soft pretty spring wedding. Every heart was moved, and not one eye was dry, as the father of the bride walked his daughter down the aisle, a moment this family thought they might not see after he suffered a debilitating stroke in 2006. Even then he declared "I want to walk my daughter down the aisle" and so, he did. This vintage inspired spring wedding was truly a dream come true for this lovely bride and her family. It is not just a story of a beautiful love between the bride and groom, but it is also a story of triumph, determination, and family.
