As the holidays near, I think the little kid inside all of is ready for a coating of beautiful white flakes. And when it comes to weddings, we love the fresh and clean backdrop a blanket of snow brings. Case in point? This wintry perfection from Everswoon, Lindsay Madden, Full Aperture Floral and team. A marrying of rustic and elegant, THE VAULT gallery will have you aching for more seasonal beauty.
From Lindsay Madden Photography…For our winter wedding inspiration shoot we envisioned a neutral color pallet made up of wintry colors such as pale blue, white, cream, midnight blue and grey. We wanted to convey an ethereal, timeless and elegant winter wedding.
We opted to hold the shoot at Buttermilk Falls in upstate New York because we knew there would be lots and lots of snow & we also wanted a place that was warm and inviting. Buttermilk Falls was the perfect backdrop! Our team settled on a beautiful Marchesa wedding gown from Gabriella Bridal Salon in New York. This dress was romantic and the detailing of the neckline was breathtaking. Charlotte carried a stunning bouquet designed by Full Aperture Floral. The bouquet was filled with various white and cream colored flowers & tied together with silk ribbon from Silk & Willow in shades of grey and pale blue. Billy looked so classic in Sene’s Noir Peak Lapel Tuxedo.
For the tablescape, we wanted something that felt organic and natural so Tamra of Everswoon paired up with Krista of Two of a Kind and Sara of SL Events to bring the vision to life. They decided on an oak wood table and dressed it up with crisp floral centerpieces {designed by, Full Aperture Floral}, mercury votives, long stem candles and midnight blue glassware for a pop of color. The cake was designed by Nine Cakes and we loved the simplicity of it.
This was such a wonderful shoot and so many vendors came together to create something that we believe will inspire future winter brides! HUGE thank you to all involved!
