California is known for its laid-back ease and effortless cool factor, and this campsite wedding definitely lives up to its California reputation. With a goal to create an experience rather than an event, these fabulous Brides used jewel tones, the relaxed campsite setting and handmade details to create a wedding full of special moments. See it all from Melissa Fuller Photography in THE VAULT!
From The Bride…When we first began planning, we asked ourselves what we wanted the wedding to feel like. We’re all about the feelings. We wanted to create something that felt communal, vibrant, playful, inclusive and that had a richness and depth that we felt was reflective of our love. These became the inspiration for everything from the jewel tones to the ceremony to the vendors we chose to work with. It was important for us to stay true to who we are, and find ways for that to show through the details. We wanted to be outdoors, in a location with natural beauty and a relaxed setting. We wanted a communal feel where everyone feels they are contributing to the experience in some way. It was a massive family effort, handmade details (arbor, napkins, bunting) with everyone pitching in. We wanted it to be an experience rather than an event—a place to make memories. We tried to create an environment where family and friends could get to know each other, work together, saunter up from campsite, put on pajamas and keep dancing.
