How did you get into photography?

After training in fine art and then finishing my training at drama school, I picked up a camera, having never done photography before. I taught myself and fell in love with film photography.

What's your personal motto, or a phrase that inspires you creatively?

Everything you want is on the other side of fear.

Can you describe your aesthetic in three words?

Luminous, elegant, authentic

What are three things you can't live without?

My family, my creativity and chocolate.

Where do you find inspiration?

In old film photographs, in paintings, in other artists work, in life, in stories.

What's your favorite social media platform?

Facebook because of its ability to reach a target audience. I do love Instagram too though!

What is a photography detail that often gets overlooked, that you wish got more attention in the planning process?

Getting ready in the morning. Scheduling time for these anticipatory moments which can be some of the most beautiful moments of the day. Also thinking about what you and your bridesmaids, your mother are wearing in the morning . Its important to think about the colour palette of your day for this so your photos have continuity in style and colour. Your wedding needs to make sense in that way. Especially if your images are going to look good exhibited next to each other on your walls or in an album.

What do you think is the most important question a client can ask, when deciding who to hire for their wedding photography?

What happens if its raining, or anything goes wrong. How do you deal with that situation? It’s important to have a plan B if its raining outside! Always!

What's been your proudest professional accomplishment as a photographer?

For me its having had the honour to shoot at some of the most beautiful venues all across Europe and the UK, for clients who trust, appreciate and love my work.

When you're not working, what do you like to do for fun?

When I don’t have a camera, a paintbrush or script in hand I play my guitar, read , decorate my house & travel . Life is for living so go for it.
