As the temps creep from chilly territory to downright cold, we’re taking refuge in the rich warmth that Bare Root Flora has splashed this fall shoot with today. Layers of harvest happiness, burgundy ranunculus paired with foraged autumn-ombre leaves and a rustic table elevated by indigo tapers aplenty. Sound cozy? It sooo is, and thanks to Callie Hobbs it all lives in THE VAULT.
From Bare Root Flora…When autumn comes, we seek out warmth through richness and depth of color and texture, gathering and layering gorgeous elements that celebrate this season of harvest and plenty. We were inspired by this notion to create a warm and elegant scene that evokes gatherings we hold with family and friends. A beautiful pick-your-own apple orchard that specializes in heirloom apples was the perfect setting.
Deep jewel tones set the stage at our table, which features elegant yet fresh tableware in rich berry and plum tones. We let the flowers be a focal point on the simple and elegant hand-made farm table. Gorgeous garden roses and spray roses, rich ranunculus, sweet cosmos and scabiosa, textural blushing bride protea and astrantia were accented with seasonal foliages, grasses and beautiful pomegranates, pears, and lush grapes. Cozy sheepskins lent warmth and an organic touch to the rustic chairs. Candles in a deep, rich sapphire tone in playful gold taper holders gave the table a bit of whimsy.
Our bride was timeless yet modern in her two-piece gown. We kept the styling simple, with minimal bespoke gold jewelry. When temperatures dipped, as they so often do on even the loveliest autumn days, this gorgeous blush sheepskin-inspired jacket kept her stylish and warm. Our simple, stylish cake was topped with fresh figs, black grapes and gold leaves for a hint of harvest bounty. A gorgeous Silk & Willow runner and a few beautiful tapers were the perfect complement.
