You know what we love? Couples who give back on their special day. Like Amanda and Jeffery, for instead of gifts they asked for donations towards the organization that supported the Bride throughout her cancer treatment. A day filled with endless love, and a story that came full circle at their barn with a chandelier celebration with Lindsay Madden Photography behind the lens. See it all in THE VAULT!
I can’t say enough good things about Jeanne Stark who was our “Day-of” coordinator. Actually, she helped me all year. Then, on the day of the wedding, she took over and made it all happen. Jamie at Bridge Creek Catering was amazing also. Our guests raved about the food. Our flowers were local and in season. I left the design up to our florist, Heather Lundy at A Night in Bloom, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
After all the stress of planning the wedding, I couldn’t believe how much fun we ended up having! The most precious part of the day was our first looks and enjoying that moment just the two of us.
As a brain cancer survivor, it was important to me to incorporate some gratitude to an organization that really supported me through my toughest times in treatment. So instead of wedding favors we donated to The Humboldt County Breast and GYN Health Project. All in all, it ended up being a perfect day for us. Having everyone we loved enjoying themselves in the same place at the same time was magical. I wouldn’t change a thing.
