Rustic Stone Manor Country Club Wedding

From the sweetly mis-matched 'maids to the Bride's lace-edged veil to these newlywed snuggles, this day from Krista A. Jones absolutely radiates timelessness. And it has me missing those warm summer breezes and lush greenery like you wouldn't believe. Thankfully, I can hang out in THE VAULT soaking it up for as long as my heart desires. Join me!

From The Bride...Eric and I met in 8th grade homeroom class. We became extremely close friends freshman year of high school when Eric and my brother, Derek developed a friendship. Eric was around a lot to hang out with my brother which also grew our friendship. We were best friends all through high school and started dating our freshman year of college and have been together since.

My inspiration behind Eric and I’s big day was bohemian style. I am in love with the 'bohemian styles', I think it is so beautiful and I knew I wanted to try and create something similar on our wedding day. There were so many things that I knew I wanted in our wedding just from looking at pinterest. I knew that I wanted something simple but gorgeous at the same time. Eric and I always knew we wanted to get married outside (If the weather allowed us) and somewhere on a lot of land. We chose Stone Manor because it was by far the most breathtaking venue out of all the ones we visited. The second we drove down the pebble driveway and looked at the view we both knew it was the one. It was everything we wanted, a package deal. Outside ceremony under 2 weeping willow trees, tent reception with open flaps, beautiful scenery for pictures, bride and groom lounge for the day of. Aside from the somewhat far venue we loved the atmosphere and location.

I always said to myself that the colors to our wedding had to be neutral because I didn't want the wedding to pass and hate the one color that was so dominant throughout. That is why we picked ivory’s, greens and blush accents. A lot of our special touches were DIY; wedding favors (We wanted everyone to take something home with them that they would have and think of us when they looked at it; we thought what better way to do that then give them a succulent; another bohemian touch! Our chandelier that hung over us while we exchanged our vows was my aunts project. She thought of the whole idea and it looked absolutely stunning, our wedding book table with all the collages of Eric, myself, friends and family, our center pieces. My cousin and I even designed our wedding invitations.
