Romantic Northern California Winery Inspiration Shoot
Cozy Sundays are my favorite, but a cozy Sunday filled with romantic inspiration from a dream team of vendors? An entirely new level of awesome. Think the genius stylings of Charmed Events Group meets fab florals from Huckleberry Karen Designs meets a golden cake from Pretty Please SF. From Charmed Events Group...Our team, collectively, was inspired to bring color back into weddings and event design. We wanted to bring fun and whimsy into the traditionally expected, rustic design aesthetic so we used a palette of blues and purples as a base for our design. Pichetti Winery was a beautiful venue and backdrop to our shoot and we created a tablescape on their grounds using farm tables and dining benches for the table concept. We paired bright, yet muted flowers with a blue runner and for place settings, used different patterned china and gold flatware, accented with menus that were inserted onto wooden boards to create a farm to table experience.
For the ceremony, we really wanted to emphasize "love" so Huckleberry Karen created an amazing foliage creation that spelled out love, accented with flowers, placed in between a draped arch with dusty blue drape. The aisles were lined with purple wildflowers and were gorgeous paired with the ceremony benches.
For the escort display, we created a natural foliage frame and hand painted a wooden sign with the words "besotted by you" which was the base of our design concept. Escort Cards in gold calligraphy were placed within the foliage frame and affixed to the side of the barn on property.
For desserts, we created mini plates of assorted sweets as an alternative to the dessert bar that you traditionally see. Each plate was thoughtfully created by Delish Designs and featured goodies such as upside down bundt cakes and blackberry cupcakes.
