Vintage Tea Inspired Same-Sex Wedding in Sacramento
We’d like to introduce you to a very special wedding, one that we’re very excited about. It’s what we like to call the ultimate Sacramento affair, bursting with details that’ll leave you with a happy heart. With Lumi Photography behind the lens it’s a day crated by Kate Whelan Events that we’re beyond happy to house in THE VAULT and we invite you to revel in the pretty, here.
From Kate Whelan Events…Molly and Margo had a vintage tea inspired wedding reminiscent of Downton Abbey (one of their favorite shows). A mix of wines, plums, peaches, ivory and metallics were used in the florals, bridesmaid dresses, linens and backdrop. Sterling silver teapots held centerpiece arrangements, DIY monogrammed handkerchiefs were given as favors, a chalkboard globe used as a guestbook, vintage velvet furniture was used both as VIP seating for the ceremony and was repurposed as a lounge later, and a dramatic ribbon and muslin backdrop set the stage for a beautiful ceremony. Guests noshed on oysters, pate, lamb chops and an incredible cheese plate before indulging in Ginger Elizabeth gourmet chocolates and macarons. Molly and Margo ended the evening dancing the night away with their guests.
