From Brittany Kinoshita... Working on this styled shoot with these Colorado vendors was such a treat. When Faith with Winsome and Wright came to me to do this shoot I was without hesitation on board. Faith was dreaming of a timeless classic look so I wanted to make this bouquet unique with flowers that can be harvested straight from a garden. Many of the flowers used in this bouquet were harvested in my own garden here in Colorado. Flowers such as the Pinnacle Hydrangea, Maple, Yellow Garden Roses, Dogwood and Mandevilla came straight from my own garden. I feel that if I can grow and harvest my own flowers I can create a look that is truly unique. I wanted a loose natural European style bouquet and a soft color pallet, but I also wanted to have some contrast making the Romantic Antique Garden roses stand out in all their glory.
There is nothing better than using flowers straight out of the garden and being able to grow and create my designs all with my own hands. My design inspiration has always been nature, so to be right in the thick of it is where my creativity comes from. I love studying how plants and flowers grow and move and that was a big part of designing this bouquet. Nature has already created a stunning display, I am just here to embrace that.
