From The Bride...I have been dreaming about my wedding day since I was a little girl. Of course my style has changed over time, but I always knew I wanted a “fairytale” like wedding one day. Our vision for the wedding was a romantic garden style. We wanted to create an atmosphere where our family and friends could feel special, but also welcomed and comfortable! I envisioned a white tent with chandeliers and neutral tones with hints of blush. The flowers were similar in color, but also had hints of green to add contrast and create the garden feel. We had the tent open to a big grass area all night so that our guests could socialize under the summer stars. I absolutely love gold & mercury glass and wanted to incorporate this somehow. We ended up accenting gold with the chairs in the reception & mercury gold candles to add the perfect romantic touch! We also wanted lots of mirrors with calligraphy to decorate the ceremony, as well as the reception. For the reception, dancing was our number one priority. The band definitely had everyone on the dance floor, and even our grandparents were dancing the night away! It is not everyday that I get to see my grandma dancing to “Shout” and loving every single moment. Each detail came together to create a perfect celebration that exceeded every expectation we had! Our wedding was not only our fairytale dream because of the ceremony and reception, but also because family members and friends came together from all backgrounds and apart from any differences, everyone was together celebrating love. That love was infectious throughout the entire day. A room full of love is all that we had hoped for and that is the absolute perfect ending to us.
It’s hard to believe after a little over a year of planning our wedding has already come and gone, but we were so lucky to have our incredibly supportive group of loved ones surrounding us through the best weekend we will never forget! We truly lucked out with the most incredible vendors who are some of the most talented people we have ever met! We could not be more grateful for everything they have done for us and helping to create the most magical day that will forever be the best day of our lives!
