Glowing Brazos Bend Engagement Session
My husband and I are college sweethearts, so when I get to 'meet' other university lovers, that soft spot in my heart gets a little softer. Especially when said lovebirds are captured in the prettiest of golden hour light by Dana Fernandez Photography. I mean, does it get any better than this? Get more of the glow in THE VAULT!
From the Bride-to-be... Even though David and I first met during our college winter break in Houston, our love story didn't begin until we got back to College Station for our spring semester. While in school, we would often go on long walks around campus or nearby parks to talk and get to know each other. There were even times when we would go on picnics to take a break from studying and enjoy each other's company. At our five year anniversary, David surprised me with a weekend trip to Austin where he proposed with a beautiful view of Lake Travis. Nature certainly played a big part in our relationship, and so we knew we wanted to also have it be part of our engagement pictures. After scouting a couple of places, we decided that Brazos Bend State Park was THE perfect location! Not only is it full of vegetation, but it is also surrounded by tall oak trees that very much resembles our college campus.
David and I were so excited to get to re-live our memories and we had so much fun getting to be outside while shooting. Our favorite part was when we got to take some fun running shots in my heels which ended in David catching me! That afternoon, we definitely felt we were falling in love all over again.
