New Orleans has a worn beauty that is incomparable. A distressed kind of charm that laces it’s fingers with weddings for some seriously gorgeous results—see what I mean? Oh, Marissa Lambert you work magic, you do. Kim Starr Wise, you’ve made all my floral dreams come true, and Distressed Rentals & Revival, you bring the character with your lovely rentals. THE VAULT gallery is ridiculously pretty friends—come join me!
From Marissa Lambert… This shoot was seamlessly styled by Audra O’Dom of Distressed Rentals & Revival for a one-on-one workshop that I hosted for the incredibly talented Lindsey Mueller. Lindsey requested to photograph a shoot filled with elegance as well as details that represent the history and culture of New Orleans. The historic Marigny Opera House was the perfect venue for Lindsey’s request. The lovely stained glass, tarnished walls, and the colorful floor provided a truly breathtaking setting! We strived to create a very simple and organic feel to the details while maintaining rich color and elegance. Further, the models made this shoot very special. Danielle and Eric are a real couple that are engaged to be married next year! The love they share is vibrant and electric, and it was such an honor to photograph real love during this shoot!
