From The Bride...We got engaged in Yountville and think that Napa is one of the most beautiful parts of California because of its romantic charm. Ben grew up on a lake in Minnesota, so we wanted to integrate a lake into the day, if possible. Black Swan Lake's gorgeous landscaping combined all the elements we were looking for. We had a vision in mind from the start- we wanted the ceremony to be filled with love, comfortable, and relaxed. We then worked with our amazing wedding planner, Shannon Leahy, to bring the vision to life. We wanted the ceremony to feel like it was our own, and a mix of sentimental emotions and but feel unique, so we integrated fun, meaningful readings, and had contemporary music by a string quartet played.
