From Carmen Santorelli... Lake Tahoe was the perfect backdrop for our organic minimalist editorial shoot. Sprawling open fields, wooded rocky paths, and that ever so stunning blue lake enabled us to tell a story of raw beauty taking multiple forms.
When designing an event or shoot it is so important to take the existing landscape into consideration. With such a dramatically gorgeous natural setting, we chose to keep our design elements as neutral and unobtrusive as possible. It is so easy to go overboard for design, but when you are gifted with such incredible views, ultimately less is more!
A favorite element from the day, which added a surprise shift in form, ended up being the shift in weather. Starting the day with blue skies, the weather quickly transition to the most magical thunderstorm that swept over the entire lake!
