With the sun and sea in mind, this darling duo decided to take to the shore for the sunrise seaside elopement of their dreams… Until their parents found out! Soon their party of two became six, but the experts at Elleson Events had it all set, creating a casually elegant boho brunch that elopement dreams are made of, and we’ve got all the Hunter Ryan Photo-captured pretty right here in The Vault!
From Hunter Ryan Photo…Lindsay, a designer from New York City and her fiance Tomasz decided a sweet elopement on the shores of Captiva Island would be the perfect fuss-free way to celebrate their union as husband and wife. Until…their parents found out! So their 2 person elopement turned into a small celebration of 6 as both of their parents joined in on their sunrise nuptials. It ended up being even better with them there than they’d even imagined though!
Lindsay and Tomasz absolutely love the early morning sunrises on Captiva Island – and fell in love with the idea of marrying at dawn. With the help of Stylist, Hollie of Elleson events – Lindsay’s design dreams for a pretty boho seasisde wedding became reality. Lindsay knew she wanted very little color – just a simple white and earthy vibe mixed with greens -nothing to take away from the natural beauty of the Island. They read one another sweet heartfelt hand-written vows and threw seashells into the ocean as they blessed their seaside union as one.
After the ceremony- the 6 had a private beach breakfast reception, which was the epitome of casual elegance. Muted marble placemats, hand-drawn placecards and driftwood set the tone for the meal. No celebration is complete without champagne and cake though – so the couple opted for a mimosa bar and waffle stack cake. :)
