Romantic Spring Elopement at Cedarwood

These cuties envisioned their love as a still life painting, bursting with blooms and candlelight, and Cedarwood Weddings took that idea and ran with it, creating a picture perfect scene for them to say their "I do's" in an intimate ceremony. Julie Paisley was there for it all, from the elegant invites by Designs In Paper to the beautiful cake by Patty Cakes - see this super sweet elopement right this way!

From Julie Paisley Photography... Alicia and Benjamin told us that if their love were depicted as a still life painting, it would be full of flowers and candlelight. The design team at Cedarwood Weddings took that symbolism to heart, and designed their ceremony altar as art, using fresh flowers encased in a gold frame. You might say this entire art-inspired elopement, set amidst a charming Tennessee historic estate, is pretty as a picture.

Massed gold candle lanterns cast a glow over the alfresco reception, which was classically styled with rich tabletop design, a wine bar and dramatically-elevated wedding cake framed with flowers. The bride’s bouquet was an intricate masterpiece of lush vines and flowers, hand tied with romantic, long silk ribbon.

The bride’s sister helped her dress in an exquisite Maggie Sottero and All About Romance veil. We love private elopements in beautiful, light-filled natural settings. It was a joy capturing elements and emotions of this celebration with film photography.
