When my husband and I were dating we’d write each other love letters that to this day are some of my most treasured possessions. Now several years of marriage and a darling baby later, life seems to have gotten a wee bit hectic but this beautiful shoot from Birds & Honey, Amy Sanderson and Milton Photography has made my pause and remember the importance of those written words. Get inspired for a handwritten love note of your own with more in The Vault.
From Birds & Honey…In a day and age where people are glued to their phones and computers, the art of the written word has slowly faded further and further away. I wanted to create something that showcased how beautiful this art still is. The art of letter writing is just as important today than it was hundreds of years ago as it reveals something about your personality that a machine can’t. Your style of handwriting, choice of ink and paper all say something about you as an individual. Handwritten love letters are more personal and meaningful, too.
