Elegant + Romantic Editorial Shoot at Strong Mansion

If there was ever a question about the right way to start a Tuesday, it’s been decided: a gorgeous wedding inspiration photo shoot like this one from Elizabeth Fogarty. Complete with lush florals in soft hues, dusty blue accents and a classic beauty look courtesy of Amie Decker Beauty and Jewel Hair Design, it doesn’t get much prettier than this. From Elizabeth Fogarty… This shoot was inspired by the classic elegance of Strong Mansion. We went for a color palette of ivory, dusty blue and blush pink, showcased throughout the different elements of the shoot. The ceremony was setup in the garden stone steps, adorned by dozens of lit candlesticks romancing the atmosphere and entertained by the melodic and airy sounds of a harp.

Garden and spray roses, peonies, proteas, anemone, pink astilbe and hydrangeas were all combined in beautiful floral compositions, perfect for the soft yet refined look.The table embraced vintage elements, especially French-inspired, as evidenced in the blue velvet chairs, the lace runner and placemats, and the ornate china. Embroidered napkins with the guests’ names would serve not only as place cards, but also as a keepsake for the guests. These vintage inspiration also came through in the cake, and the rest of the furniture.

Our Bride’s modest look was composed by the gorgeous Uma gown by Rosa Clara, a clean, yet elaborated, high bun and make up with a bit of a dramatic eye and simple lips. The blue Manolo Blahnik were a perfect pop of color and touch of elegance for this sophisticated bride. For the perfect exit, our bride and groom departed in a vintage Rolls Royce beautifully adorned by a floral wreath.
