Elegant Charleston Plantation Wedding
This Bride deserves a round of applause, for not only creating an elegant, romantic affair not soon to be forgotten, but doing it all in only four months! That takes talent, and it was on full display as guest enjoyed every minute of this Southern celebration, captured completely by Virgil Bunao and Life In Rewind for us to enjoy. From the Bride... We planned our destination wedding in four months because, having been together for almost five years, we didn’t want to wait and we knew that springtime in Charleston would be beautiful. Our wedding planner made the planning process exciting and enjoyable; she understood our vision and executed it perfectly. From a “Bacon Bar” filled with late night treats to an outdoor Gentlemen’s section with cigars, scotch, darts, leather couches and even deer antlers, it was a true Southern wedding on a historic plantation.
The wedding day was—not to sound trite—the best day of our lives! We wrote our own ceremony and vows, dined on amazing food and danced like there was no tomorrow. We were sent off under sparklers to our hotel in a vintage Bentley with bacon mac-n-cheese waiting for us in the trunk. It was such an amazing day, and there was no moment of dullness at all. It was all that we wanted: our sweet family and friends gathered to celebrate our new beginning as husband and wife under classic Southern oaks.
