You know what I’ve realized? Just how small the world actually is. Like, when you meet someone in the Big Apple who just so happens to live in the exact same Russian city as you. Take these two, who did exactly that, fell madly in love and eloped in NYC, the city that stole their hearts. Complete with monumental moments and a carrousel ride, it’s a tale of two from the lens of Cynthia Chung Weddings and you can see it all in The Vault!
From Cynthia Chung Weddings…Had the lovely opportunity to photograph this beautiful couple, Kira and Mikhail. They met in NYC but were both from the same city in Russia! After living in Brooklyn for a few years, they both decided to move back to their home country of Russia after they get married. Their plan was to spend their honeymoon traveling across the United States and then finish up their honeymoon in Russia. Kira worked as a gallery manager, so NYC, fashion and art was a huge part of her life. She wanted to capture the liveliness of NYC forever. With Kira’s custom hand-painted high heels, we began the day in Soho, photographing throughout the streets, went to DUMBO, rode on Jane’s carousel and finished up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for their reception at Acqua Santa. It was a beautiful day!
