Emotional Wedding Film at the Wente Vineyard

I might be the biggest fan of wedding films ever. They make me laugh, they make me cry, they make me fall in love with weddings all over again. And this one from REB6studios is the perfect example of why. It's well worth a few minutes of your day, and you'll see just what I mean when you hit play.

From REB6studios...Sometimes you experience something amazing, out of the box, so marvelously, charmingly unusual, that there’s only one thing you can say: Wow!!! This wedding is what it is all about, the wow! On this post, we are showcasing a spectacular wedding we shot at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, CA filmed by your favorite San Francisco wedding videographer, reb6studios.This is where all our ducks are lined up. The weather, the timing, the moments, are all there.

It sure made our shooters a night to feast for filming. We pulled out almost all our gears on this wedding and the shots came fantastic! But the wow never stops there! It is the story. Yes, it is the story behind Barbara and Mitch that made us love this film to pieces. Whenever we are opened to opportunities for a unique story , you know we’re all over it and capitalize! After a couple of hours of figuring out the story lines for this wedding film, we came up with this!

We would like to thank the other wonderful vendors who made this wedding film fabulous!

From the Bride… We definitely knew we wanted an outdoor fall wedding, with as much green as possible. A healthy mix of garden, rustic, comfortable but classic - what Mitch's aunt later dubbed as "understated elegance". But the true inspiration came from my mom. A lot of the decorations were a tribute to her, and although she couldn't share the day with us the way we all would've loved, seeing all those details made us feel like she was there every step of the way. Even though it was our big day, deep down inside it was a day for me to honor her again, and make her as much a part of the process as she would've been if she were physically here today.

We made sure to include special touches to include her throughout the day. Yellow was her favorite color, so of course the main flower color was yellow! Little subtle bee designs were among the decorations, which symbolizes her because her name was Bee Bee! (our invitations had a simple yellow bee at the bottom, the seating table boards had gold bee pins to pin each list of names, the vases on the reception tables all had tiny bee stickers on the ribbons, and our wedding cake had a little bee on it - made by Mitch's cousin). My mom looooved her popcorn, especially the Chicago mix (cheese & caramel!), so we made sure to have a popcorn bar. We had
dachshund-shaped cookie favors, because the reason we have our three little ones is because of my mother. We went together to get our first doxie when I was in high school (against my dad's wishes… and after that, she couldn't help but add more to the family. Mitch and I took them all in after she passed, and we couldn't be more grateful to have them part of our family now.

Mitch's aunt did all of our flowers, including the beautiful arch for our ceremony. His cousins built the arch, and Auntie Jo decorated it! Mitch's cousin made our beautiful 5-tier wedding cake, equipped with all the things most important to us… our 3 dogs and my mom, aka a bee, and the cake part of course!Mitch's aunts made 1,001 paper cranes and put them together in the shape of Mitch's family mon (Japanese crest that stands for his last name - Muramoto) + a calligraphy piece of Barbara's family Chinese last name.

Overall our wedding was so special because of all our family who played such big roles--we are so lucky to have the love and support we do and couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect day!
