There are stunning weddings, and then there is this day captured brilliantly by Amalie Orrange Photography. A vibrant + colorful affair with some of the most amazing details you will ever see (truly). Think insanely beautiful florals from Shea Hopely Flowers, the whimsical stylings of Flaire Events and a donut bar (!) for all things yummy. Head to The Vault for the entire (crazy cool) gallery, then check out the film from Seltzer Films below.

From Amalie Orrange Photography… Shannon and David were married in a gorgeous church, St. Andrews, in Sanford, Florida. With stunning sprawling landscape and a beautiful back drop we had the best time with these two! Our jaws dropped when we walked into their reception space at The Winter Park Racquet Club, there were pops of pink, sherbet and amethyst… so dreamy! I think our favorite details was the wooden chargers and the donut bar, hello donuts!!
From The Bride… It was almost like something out of the movie, Love and other Drugs. We were both pharmaceutical reps selling competing products; so we ran into each other for the first time in a doctors office. Then a few weeks later, David’s past partner started working for my company and asked me to meet up for lunch. Being from out of town, she asked if I minded if another friend met up with us. Of course I said “not a problem!” That friend was David. It was at that lunch that we discovered we were born in the same hospital five hours away, and had lived a few miles away from each other the majority of our lives.
A few of my favorite things include coffee, holidays and water. His proposal couldn’t have been any more perfect in my mind. It was Thanksgiving morning and we woke up early to load up the car to travel to see family. David asked me to go have our morning coffee on the dock in his backyard that overlooked the lake. I walked out the back porch in my pajamas and no make up, with coffee in hand. As we sat on the dock he asked me “What are you thankful for on this Thanksgiving?” I said a few things… then set him up perfectly asking “What are you thankful for?” He looked at me and said “God giving me you”. He went on about all the things he loved about me and didn’t want to spend another day without me being more than a girlfriend to him! He pulled the ring out his old sweatshirt and that’s when I saw the ring box of an old family friend’s jewelry store. He told me the story about how he had a few cushion cut diamonds hand picked by this jeweler from Antwerp and brought back for him to choose the special one for my ring to be designed around. It was nothing short of the most the most thoughtful gift, presented in the most intimate way on my favorite holiday!
