This is the kind of wedding that makes me want to get out of my chair and applaud. It’s different, yet classic all at the same time – leaving us with a one-of-a-kind affair that is sure to inspire. Hosted at the gorgeously unique Gallow Green At The McKittrick Hotel with breathtaking florals from Fox Fodder Farm, these images from Christine Han Photography are just beyond. See them all here.
Only in NYC does a place like this exist, a rooftop dripping in greenery and housing an old railway car, staffed by beautiful people dressed in period costume serving up delicious cocktails. The ladies of Fox Fodder Farm enhanced the existing space with their stunning florals, which you just have to see to believe!
And the gorgeous couple! The bride has been a friend of my husband’s since high school, so this wedding was special to me. Caitlin and Josh are the couple you wish you could be; stylish, beautiful, in love, and laid back.
The bride got ready at The High Line Hotel, another incredible NYC venue that used to be a seminary. The folks who work there are super nice, and we were able to do portraits inside their hall to avoid the rain. The bride was classic and fresh in her J. Crew dress, and I loved her practically-heeled Prada shoes!
The evening was filled with top-notch food and drink by the chefs at Gallow Green, and live music was provided by jazz band Jessy Carolina and the Hot Mess, whose sound and aesthetic fit right into the vibe of the night. This was one of my favorite weddings of all time! Everyone had a blast.
