Romantic Wards Island Beach Engagement
However much we go gaga over real weddings around here, there's totally something to be said about the perfect e-sesh: it should be personal, intimate, beautiful, and this couple did it oh-so right. Captured by Blynda Da Costa Photography, this darling duo's waterfront snuggle sesh is everything an engagement shoot should be and more. Get lost in the full gallery here!
From Blynda Da Costa Photography...Jamie and Chris wanted something personal. They are getting married at his parents property in beautiful Collingwood Ontario and they are filling their wedding with personal little details to share with their family and friends.
Early this past spring, when we talked about locations for their upcoming engagement shoot, I suggested this spot without really knowing how much the couple really enjoyed it there. They love to hop on the little Toronto ferry with a bunch of friends in summertime with a cooler, beach blankets and bathing suits to spend the day away from the city on the adorable beaches of the Toronto Islands. As coincidence would have it - the location was a great match and the perfect way to commemorate their engagement in the city they fell in love in and in a spot that was close to their hearts.
Toronto has easy access to a collection of little islands just a few minutes off the shore of downtown in Lake Ontario. They are not-so-hidden, but nonetheless quiet little gems in the city! The 10 minute ride on a quaint little ferry gets you to another little peaceful world surrounded by water without the hustle bustle of the city and sound of cars and buses flying by! Ward's Island is a favorite spot for many Torontonians, but still retains the quiet charm of a private little island.
