When the celebration is captured by onelove photography, there is a pretty solid chance that I’m going to be oohing and aahing over every single pic. And while that is more than true for these Napa nuptials, florals by Daisy Rose Floral Design, Got Light’s talent, Bright Event Rentals‘ decor, and La Tavola’s lovely linens, all orchestrated together by LVL Events, makes for a bash not soon forgotten. See every second right this way!
From the Bride… We love the outdoors, food, wine and the Bay Area and wanted to share it all with our guests. Most of our guests were from out of town so it was made even more special to share a part of our everyday life with them. We used all local vendors for our wedding, even serving a local roasted coffee with dessert. One of the first things Tony and I agreed on at the beginning of our planning adventure was that we wanted a live band, as we both love music. It was really tough to find the perfect band, but we did, and they brought the energy we wanted to the dance floor. It was the perfect day, filled with warmth and love.
We wanted to take advantage of the natural color palette of the venue. We chose an outdoor wedding at a winery, so it made sense to let the neutral-colored surroundings shine. Keeping in line with the natural setting, we chose wood furniture and natural-colored linens. The surroundings were so beautiful, that we really didn’t have to add too much in addition. Color was brought in with the flowers. The ceremony was kept pretty neutral with white and green flowers and the reception got more vibrant with red and pinks. The bouquets had pops of color that were the perfect transition between the two. The first thing we knew was a must for the reception decor was white bistro lights. Lighting makes a huge difference and we’ve always loved the warmth, elegance and romance that white bistro lights bring to an outdoor setting.
My advice: Make a list and check it twice… or three times. Organization is key and helps prevent stress that can lead to any bridezilla moments.
Try to leave as few things as possible to do the week of the wedding. Family typically starts to arrive earlier in the week of the wedding and I’m sure you’d rather be spending time with them to begin the celebrations vs. running around doing last minute to-do’s.
Reserve a day the week of the wedding for just you and your man. Book a spa appointment and grab a bite to eat. It will probably be your last chance to have one-on-one time with each other before the big day.
