This Texas wedding is what traditional Southern wedding dreams are made of. From the Bride’s delicate lace bodice for the church ceremony to the traditional chocolate Groom’s cake, this affair, captured by Something Gold Photography, is just full of Southern charm. And the reception venue’s industrial vibe adds just the right touch of modern elegance. See it all here.

Our ceremony took place downtown at the First United Methodist Church, which is my favorite church in the city, and our reception was a mile-and-a-half away at 809 at Vickery – an indoor/outdoor, industrial-meets-elegance venue with plenty of room for our 370 guests. Guests were seated both inside and outside for dinner, and then everyone eventually migrated outside to the dance floor once our band got the party started. The weather was possibly the biggest miracle of the day. The tornado sirens went off on Friday night during our rehearsal dinner, however, Saturday was the most perfect day that we could have asked for. We danced the night away in perfect 75-degree weather under cloudless skies with our favorite people in the world – it truly was a dream. It’s almost impossible to put into words the sheer joy, love and happiness that we felt on our wedding day, and we could not be more thankful for our incredible family, friends and vendors for making our celebration everything we could have hoped for and more.
