Romantic Snowy Ski Resort Wedding in Colorado
Complete with Voodoo doughnuts, "flower dogs", and a mountain view that that seems to go on for days, this Colorado celebration is sprinkled with some pretty OMG-worthy moments. From the sudden snowflakes, to guests riding chair lifts to the ceremony, to the bridesmaids kicking off the reception with a shotski, Erin L. Taylor captured it all in the gallery!
From Erin L. Taylor...The first time I met Briana & Michael was in Boulder, CO at Brewer's Market to talk about their wedding on a snowy afternoon over chai lattes. On what would not be our only snowy afternoon together, we found that we shared a common love for not only chai lattes and snowy afternoons, but a big, big love for dogs (Michael is a Veterinarian!), mountains, exploring National Parks and the Centennial State.
Briana and Michael took their love for each other, their dogs, Scarlett & Bessie, and being outdoors and in the mountains and built their wedding day around that. Their wedding included their dogs as "flower dogs" at Granby Ranch on a mountain-top ceremony site with mountain views for days, from Winter Park to Grand Lake (an entrance to the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park).
Their wedding day forecast was 90% rain, but it whirled around their wedding site and left them with blue and cloudy skies. Their wedding day was filled with so many amazing moments, guests riding chair lifts to the ceremony, dogs running around, smiles on everyone's faces, the bridesmaids doing a shotski to kick off the reception...but my hands down favorite moment was when it began to snow and Briana, watching it fall from the sky said, "This is my dream wedding."
