A late summer wedding in Napa Valley, planned and designed to perfection by Jacin Fitzgerald Events with La Tavola’s lovely linens and Julie Song Ink’s delicate designs (these pomegranate place cards!)…. it really doesn’t get much better than this m’dears. Josh Gruetzmacher captured every shining second of this celebration, where the only competition to all this beauty was the Bride’s beaming smile. Tri Luu filmed all the action, and without further ado, see why I can’t stop babbling right this way!

From the Bride… Marc and I met in 2007 when we were in our last year at The University of Southern California; we sat next to each other in class and immediately became friendly. After a few months of which our friends jokingly called our “courting period,” we finally started dating and have now been together for eight years.
After moving to NY together, Marc popped the question one drizzly summer afternoon in Central Park. I was completely surprised and being so wrapped up in the moment I am not sure I even said yes.
We planned to get married in Napa, CA the following summer. Jacin, our amazing wedding planner, helped us to find the perfect locale, a private estate in the heart of Napa wine country. The gorgeous private estate bordered a winery and featured all of the rustic chic details we were looking for. The fruiting pomegranate trees on the property inspired much of the design of the wedding, and the rich changing colors of early fall became the perfect palette for our dream day.
The wedding itself fell on Labor Day weekend, a shocking twist of events occurred just a few days before when a 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit Napa Valley. In less than a week our families and wedding planner seemed to pull off the impossible and relocate all of our guests to undamaged hotels and find a new rehearsal dinner venue in a matter of days.
On the day of, you would have never known all the chaos that had occurred in Napa. Our venue featured the most picturesque scenery and overlooked the neighboring winery. The day was full of so much love and silliness which was exactly what we wanted. All of the perfect details from the flowers to the toss bar, and finally the hand lettered pomegranate place cards, made our event so uniquely us and we could not have asked for more.
