Golden Hour on the Washington Coast Wedding Inspiration

Golden Hour photography is my absolute favorite and this inspiration shoot on the gorgeous Washington coast from Christine Clark is precisely why. Everything—from the Bride’s Champagne-colored gown and romantic makeup to the loose, organic bouquet—looks prettier in the warm glow of Golden Hour. Don’t believe me? Just take a peek at all the beauty here.

From Christine ClarkWe made the long drive out to the far, wild and rugged Washington coast in the middle of summer when golden hour lasts for ages. Mist from the ocean hung in the air, mixing with the soft, rich glow, and created a gentle blanket of light around Tahlia. Willowy olive branches and fluffy pampas grass mixed together in her bouquet for a contrasting texture that matched the spirit of the organic coastline. Driftwood of all shapes and sizes scattered across the beach, and gave us lovely frames and platforms to mingle with. The endless wash of water on the shore wiped the sand clean and smooth, ready for fresh footprints. This remote stretch of coast was an inspiring backdrop for our shoot as the sun set over the ocean.
