From Kaleb Norman James DesignBack in January I was walking the beautiful ground of Camp Korey with a client for an upcoming August wedding. I was struck with the lushness of the property, even in the dead of winter and knew I wanted to come back in the Spring when the trees were blooming and the sun was out once again. I kept finding myself distracted on the walk through dreaming up ideas for a potential shoot. The specific area we shot in reminded me of the Summers I spent in Italy, with the beautiful gardens, wisteria covered trellis & ornate fountain. This is where the inspiration came from for the color palette and over all design. I wanted something that felt reflective of the foggy mornings and the rolling green hills of the countryside, so I went with dusty blues & grays, and greens as the base for the color palette and then used natural elements like the vineyard chairs & wooden chargers to act as accent tones. We wanted the details to feel intentional such as the single tiered cake and many of the arrangements made up of the same flower.
