From Super Tuscan Wedding Planners...This romantic couple traveled to Italy with their entire family for their blessing. This is Ingrid and Jeroen’s special wedding in Tuscany! Ingrid and Jeroen decided that pure nature would be the key player for their big day! The wedding ceremony was held in a wheat field set within the Tuscan countryside with olive groves in the background. Bales of straw decorated with pretty white fabric and cushions were used for seating instead of the classical benches or chairs…can you imagine anything more country? Simplicity was the keyword to their union but the details were what made this country wedding in Tuscany special!
The morning started with the ladies getting ready in a venue near the beautiful Tuscan town of Cortona. The bride and the little bridesmaids decorated their heads with braids, flowers and colorful ribbons and a red Fiat 500 car took them to the ceremony location. The bride's white gown and the bridesmaids’ white dresses were the perfect contrast with the rural Tuscan landscape and the symbolic wedding ceremony began with the best premises! And it seemed that not only Ingrid and Jeroen were going to get married but that their three daughters would join in as they sat with their parents in front of the celebrant! As unusual as the bride’s orange shoes and the handmade wedding rings were, the ceremony was touching as well as amusing! And all those present that day would surely agree!
This couple requested an eco & country wedding and that’s exactly what they got! The ring cushion was pure country style: a bunch of straw nicely tied up with string, with two white roses as decoration. The dominating color was white with pink details here and there, in places such as the bouquets hanging from the trees, all the details at the wedding reception table and the wedding cake that was tastefully decorated with edible rose colored flowers! Well, even the champagne was rose & pink!
