Nantucket is a truly magical place – the endless coastlines, shingled cottages, and breathtaking views – it’s hard not to love every inch of that sweet little island. So when a team of talented vendors join forces to create inspiration that beautifully compliments the Grey Lady, we just know it’s going to be good. Styled and shot by Melissa Jill with florals from The Local Bouquet, stationery by Foil & Ink and one gorgeous Sarah Seven gown from The Dress Theory – this gallery is just everything.
Speaking of the breeze, the Sarah Seven dress has a chiffon skirt that provides amazing movement in the sea air. The gentle flow of it makes our model Annamarie look absolutely ethereal.
The invitation suite, created by Jacki Miller with Foil & Ink, harmonizes perfectly with the historic lighthouse setting and with the color palette.
When I think of Nantucket, I always think of this lighthouse, Great Point Light. It sits at the very tip of the island, right where Nantucket Sound meets the ocean. There’s a loneliness and beauty about this remote lighthouse that makes it feel like the very soul of New England.
