Misty Colorado Wedding Inspired by Ireland
When a destination wedding in Ireland was out of the question, this sweet Bride and Groom decided to bring Ireland to Colorado with shades of green evoking the Emerald Isle, traditional Irish music and an intimate touches like the Bride's heirloom cabochon bracelet. And to top it all off, romantic, misty weather and gorgeous photos from Lisa O'Dwyer. Swoon over all the beauty here.
From Lisa O'Dwyer... Emily originally dreamed of a destination wedding in Ireland. She used green in her wedding to evoke a feeling of Ireland and the misty rainy early May day was perfectly in tune with suggesting Ireland! We used the lake backdrop at Evergreen Lake House for their photographs together and it couldn't have been more romantic!
Emily and James had an intimate wedding with many and friends and family coming from different states. They splurged on a fantastic jazz band and had a traditional Irish duo, Adam Agee and Jon Sousa, who played soft Irish music during the ceremony. Emily's mom made her an heirloom bracelet with a piece of her grandmother's lace wedding dress in a cabochon. Emily made her own veil. Her BHLDN dress reminded me of Jane Austen or lady poetess of the Romantic period of England or Ireland. This wedding was very intimate with a personalized ceremony in their new home of Colorado.
