Rustic Summer Wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch
Is there really anything prettier than a sunny California wedding? Not according to these pics by B&G Photography, where the sun was bright, smiles were wide and one beautiful Bride was practically beaming. With her all-white bouquet in hand, she walked down the aisle to her adorable Groom and kicked off one fabulously fun bash - see every sparkling second right this way!
From the Bride... Everything was Californian/American i.e. the wine, food, ice cream was all locally sourced! We wrote our own vows together and I wrote the entire ceremony wording. We choreographed our first dance on our own. I made our invitations, save-the-dates, wedding website, table numbers (names), escort cards, place cards, menus, welcome bags, and ceremony programs. I made my garter, veil, and his pocket square. My parents gave me a necklace made by the native Hawaiians, which they saved for over 25 years, as my ‘something old’. My bridesmaids gave me a bracelet and Adam gave me a necklace as my ‘something new’. My ‘something borrowed’ was my great great grandmother’s gold cross, Syl Vesta Stinson, daughter of Cap Hatfield. My ‘something blue’ was hidden within my bouquet as a gift for the lucky lady who caught it during the bouquet toss later that evening.
