When actor/director Justin Baldoni popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Emily, with a jaw-dropping 27-minute long proposal video that went viral back in 2013 — now with over 10 million views to date (yes, you read that right!) — we knew their upcoming wedding would be equally amazing. We were right, and, lucky for you, we’ve got the romantic film from Full Frame Cinema to share right here!

From Full Frame Cinema…We had the pleasure of shooting an incredibly unique, beautiful, and energetic wedding for one amazing couple, Justin and Emily Baldoni. Justin is an insanely talented director and actor, directing the moving series “My Last Days” and currently co-starring on “Jane the Virgin” as Rafael. His wife Emily is also an incredibly gifted actress and always at Justin’s side supporting his endeavors: loving people and telling their stories. We first met Justin when he contacted us to film the wedding of his good friends, Golriz and Devon, who you may have seen on Style Me Pretty a few years ago (playing their ukulele!), which became one of our favorite weddings to date. When the time came for Justin to tie the knot with his beautiful bride, Emily, he called us and we were so excited to be a part of their special day! Also, if his 27 minute proposal video that went viral was any indication of how the wedding was going to be, we couldn’t wait.
The weather was perfect. The location and whimsically light and joyful feel of the entire day was even more perfect. Their ceremony was one of the most beautiful and love filled ceremonies we’ve ever had the privilege of being a part of. Then, their reception was so energetic and fun… there wasn’t a single person the entire night that wasn’t dancing!
Besides us and the incredibly talented Alison Howard, their wedding planner, everything from music, to flowers, to food, was provided by friends and family. It was wonderful to see everyone come together to give them such a special and personal wedding.
We are so honored that we were able to be a part and capture the beginning of such a beautiful marriage, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for this extraordinary couple. We love you guys!
From The Bride…Our wedding day was on July 27th 2013, a beautiful summer’s day and evening at our dear friend’s stunning Corona, CA property. My mother in law Sharon did all the decorating and turned the place into a Midsummer Night’s Dream, exactly what I had hoped for. She put so much love in all the details, you could feel the magic of it all. Our flowers looked like ones we could have picked ourselves out in the meadows, natural, simple yet so beautiful. My girlfriends helped place them out everywhere, the perfect addition to the already stunningly decorated garden. It all had a very simple and rustic feel yet with a certain magical spark á la Midsummer Night’s Dream, a place where lovers go and get lost in the night :)
The food was a huge hit, people still talk about it. All thanks to Frank Lara and his talent, especially when it comes to his gourmet pizza made in his portable pizza oven! And my dear sisters made delicious desserts that were gone before Justin and I could even have a taste. But we had our own little Swedish Princess cake from Sweet Lady Jane! Everyone’s bellies were full and happy!
The most important ingredient of the evening was the massive amount of love that family and friends brought that day. Everyone celebrated with utmost joy, we danced barefoot in the grass, shared some amazing stories and speeches and there were so many surprises and gifts of love. We couldn’t have had the wedding of our dreams if it wasn’t for our family and incredible community of friends. I am beyond grateful to not only being married to the love of my life, but to have such a special wedding day to look back at, a true testament to the love we have in our lives.
