Banff Engagement Session
A stunning couple, a gorgeous backdrop and Terry Photo Co. behind the lens? That's a recipe for engagement perfection. These images are so breathtaking you almost won't believe they are real, but trust me folks, it's this couples' gorgeous reality. See them all here.
From Terry Photo Co...What happens when snow and sunshine collide? Photo awesomeness ... at least we like to think so. Here are some shots from an engagement session that we did recently with an adorable couple, Kyle & Pegah. We are submitting this session as we think not only are this couple beautifully gushing with love but the scenery, wildlife that tried to steal the lime light and the weather conditions made for an amazingly different engagement session.
On June 26th, 2014 Pegah and Kyle were enjoying after work drinks with their co-workers and friends at The Corner Place in Toronto. Pegah's manager and Kyle's friend were classmates from university creating a welcoming atmosphere for the two to talk. Pegah immediately began to tease Kyle as he was still proudly sporting the US National Football Team's jersey that was defeated earlier that day by her favourite, the German National Football Team. The heated debate over the game brought out the competitive nature in them both and the next thing you know, they were planning their first date for the coming Saturday.
Their first date lasted 6 hours and began with Kyle spilling coffee on his white polo shirt. They enjoyed a not so quiet lunch with a boisterous group of Chilean soccer fans sitting next to them but got a good laugh when one of them, on his way out, pointed to the couple and yelled, "I like what's going between you two" not knowing it was their first date. The date then moved outside to the Harbourfront where the two talked for hours under the warm Toronto sun and made plans for their second date before parting ways.
Kyle and Pegah were inseparable from that point on; going on a bike tour in the Niagara wine country, bungee jumping with friends in Quebec, enjoying their first Michigan game at "The Big House" and every other special moment along the way. They made the big move to Calgary to start their lives together and are looking forward to the unknowns that they have yet to experience and the many memories to come.
Just after moving to Calgary, Pegah approached us for a Banff engagement session in April which can be risky as the weather conditions are very fickle in the mountains that time of year. We decided to do the shoot not knowing if it would rain, snow or be beautiful and sunny but Kyle and Pegahs' "up for anything attitude" proved to be so rewarding as the weather was all of the above and the pictures we got were standout (not only because of the weather but mainly because of the adorableness of these two!!).
We (Joe & Tara Terry of Terry Photo Co.) hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoying spending time with these two and capturing a little glimpse of their love story.
