We got a little sneak at the love between these two on Friday, with their engagement shoot in Austin, Texas. Emily Delamater caught their newly engaged bliss then and continued capturing their story at Marianmade Farm in Maine, where they said their “I do’s” with a rustic and romantic celebration. DSD Media filmed away and I can officially declare this to be one very happily ever after tale.

From Emily Delamater… Karissa and John’s wedding was held at one of my favorites New England venues – Marianmade Farm. The couple lives in Austin, TX but they are originally from New England and wanted to celebrate with friends and family back home and also give their guests a good excuse to come visit Maine, a place they both love. I knew I liked them right away and we were lucky enough to get to visit them in Austin where we shot their engagement session at the gorgeous San Michele just outside the city.
One of the reasons I love Marianmade is because it is a flower farm owned by an incredibly talented florist so the whole property is beautifully laid out and always filled with gorgeous blooms of the season and a vintage Airstream to boot! I loved the use of color in their details, the mix of white, peach, plum, grey and gold. It was a perfect mix of New England charm, late summer blooms and great style.
