With time as the subtle theme for this romantic California celebration, guests were treated to a look back at this adorable couple’s love story as they toasted to great things ahead. Candice Benjamin captured every rustic-meets-glam detail but nothing could compete with the smiles on this Bride and Groom’s faces. Only time will tell what’s in store for them, but I have a feeling there will be lots of love.

From the Bride… Andrew and I met as young kids at the age of nine. Since the day we met, we have had a strong connection that lasted throughout the years. It wasn’t until 20 years later, at a mutual friend’s wedding, that we realized what that un-denying connection was…. we are each other’s soulmates!!! Since that wedding weekend when we decided to finally be together, not a day has gone by that we haven’t talked or laughed with each other. We do everything together. He’s my best friend and soulmate and life couldn’t be any better!

I would describe our wedding décor and vibe as a “Romantic Rustic Glam.” It was set in a rustic and romantic barn setting, using soft blush and ivory colors with pops of pink and a hint of glam through sequin accents. A special detail that we added to the wedding to make it special to us is the thing we call “time.” Because of our love story and 20 year history, we believe that timing is everything. Good things in life take time, just like our love. We needed time to grow into the people we were meant to be, and the people we were meant to be for each other. In order to tie this into the wedding, I used small vintage table clocks scattered throughout the venue. I also set out frames with quotes about “time” in them such as “Time is on our side,” “The time is now,” and “Timing is everything.”
