La Jolla Beach Anniversary Session
Ever wonder what happens when a pair of photographers photographs another photographer? It's usually really, really good even if it is a mouthful. And if you want proof, then spend a moment devouring this anniversary shoot from Orange Photographie, as she spent a day snapping fellow photog Michelle Cross and her husband Colton. Pure magic. And so much more here.
From Orange Photographie... We love to connect with photographers and make new friends when we travel. On this particular trip, we drove up the coast of California, starting in the San Diego area, where we met up with the beautiful Michelle Cross and her husband, Colton. Michelle is a very talented wedding photographer, and it was such fun to photograph a photographer, especially for their anniversary session!
We met up with this beautiful pair on a gorgeous evening in La Jolla (is there ever an evening that is NOT gorgeous in La Jolla?!?) and walked along the rocks and cliffs, enjoying getting to know each other and laughing when the waves got a little too close for comfort! We loved Michelle and Colton's styled - it was a bit of New England preppy combined with California relaxed. It worked perfectly for the setting. And I'm always a sucker for navy and white stripes!
Anniversary sessions are so special. We believe they are a powerful visual reminder of the love that you share and your continual commitment to your other half. The time leading up to marriage is so full of excitement and change, but once you are on the other side of the wedding, it's easy to get caught up in busy lives and be pulled in different directions. Remaining head-over-heels in love with your other half is a constant choice, and one that should be celebrated. What better way than through photos?
