Elegant Hummingbird Nest Ranch Wedding

I literally gasped for air when I first laid eyes on this wedding and Jana Williams' images. I mean, just take a minute to drool over that Vera Wang gown. It's to die for. From Jana Williams Photography... Cindy and Phillip are such a laid back couple. I remember they booked me only a few months before the wedding. The couple was much more concerned with seeing all of their family in one place at the same time then any details of the wedding. They both had family coming in from Asia.   Cindy was also super excited about dancing! I went with her back to the cabin to change into her second dress and she was ready to let loose! Her second dress was made for her in Hong Kong. Some of the best moments of the wedding were the speeches. Her sister gave a heart felt speech about living oceans apart from each other but remaining best friends. It was like out of a movie. This elegant and chic wedding was held on the lower grounds of the Hummingbird Nest Ranch. I actually prefer to shoot on this part of the venue (plus it's less expensive than the upper location). I love how Cindy choose a ranch venue and then went totally upscale with her beautiful fashion forward Vera Wang gown and her high ponytail.  I love to see my brides really present on the big day and Cindy was definitely very present and so thankful to be with her family! Evelynn from Events by Evelynn did a stunning job of taking Cindy's vision and making it into a reality. The day could not have gone smoother -- I wish I could photograph this wedding over and over again.
