Luxurious Boho Warehouse Wedding Inspiration

I’m actively in the process of convincing my fiancé that we need a dog (it’s a daily discussion) and if this furry baby isn’t convincing enough, then I don’t know what is! I mean, not only is the gallery loaded with fluffy friends and darling details, it’s basically what my dreams are made of. More here!

From Elevate EventsElevate Event’s first styled shoot, entitled ‘Boho-Luxe in Love,” was inspired by the venue it was shot at, The Lageret. The Lageret is a vast, organic and industrial warehouse located in the heart of a small town in south-central Wisconsin. Originally home to eight different businesses, it is now a wide open space with enough room to host a separate ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, all in the same building!

We wanted to feed off the industrial vibe of the Lageret, so we chose to keep the stylistic touches of our shoot casual yet refined, colorful but full of greenery, and chic yet cool. As such, “Boho-Luxe in Love” was born.

Boho-Luxe in Love is set in the summer, but we chose to stay away from the traditional saturated and rich color palette and instead chose a light blue color scheme with lots of greenery, white and pops of orangey-red in the nectarines and flowers.

To set the vibe of the dinner table, we chose a farmhouse table from Event Essentials to juxtapose the brick and modern touches of the warehouse, but also a mix of industrial, country and victorian-plush chairs to give the table setting a relaxed vibe.

For the table-top, we gave a nod to our “boho” inspiration by incorporating goblets in both clear and blue glass, mis-matched vintage plates, and loose floral arrangements. To add to our “luxe” theme, however, we incorporated rich, copper metals, classic crystal stemware and luxurious steel blue napkins. We also loved the look of copper candles and copper candle holders all over a lace linen to give it a subdued, vintage undertone. For our final pop, we added the name cards and menus done by Andra Delores Design and a nectarine on top for an added pop of bright red and freshness.

More boho elements such as a persian rug and wooden birdcage anchored our ceremony space, with luxurious candles and a hand-painted mirror by A La Crate rounding out the decor. The true feature of this space, however, was the antique chandelier filled with greenery (gorgeously designed by Flora By Jamae), which served as the altar and focal point in the room.

Our bride, Amy, was dressed in a custom two-piece gown by Monirose Bespoke Gowns. She wore a exquisite floral crown and carried a laid-back bouquet full of greenery with pops of gold ribbon. We even threw in a few dogs for the shoot to add to the cuteness and laid-back vibe!

In keeping with the theme of copper, we chose the classic “Moscow Mule” as the couple’s signature drink, especially since it is so tasty and refreshing in the summertime. To personalize the dessert offerings, we incorporated an assortment of French-inspired desserts from Madison’s local patisserie. Not only are the assorted desserts a smart option to accommodate the tastes of many, they also make great conversation starters and add a touch of uniqueness to the event.

When planning the decor for your wedding, we believe one sure-fire way to add a sense of luxury is by mixing different patterns and layering different elements. Don’t be too worried that your wedding will feel “busy,” mixing colors and patterns may seem daunting, but as long as your color palette is relatively subdued, the mixed patterns will add visual interest and make your decor feel cohesive and inspired. We chose to mix persian rugs with lace, satin with metal, and ikat patterns in the invitations next to copper and vintage china – and the result was spectacular! Enjoy features from “Boho Luxe in Love.”
