From Melissa DeLorme Photography…Christine and Matt’s coastal North Carolina engagement session was a dream to photograph. We traveled down to Fort Fisher, to the exact spot where Matt proposed to Christine, to soak up every ounce of light. From her two piece dress to the romantic spread on the beach, I instantly fell in love with these two beautiful people. The way Christine fit perfectly into Matt’s arms and the way they were completely comfortable with each other in front of the camera made me squeal with excitement as we captured some of my favorite engagement photos to date.
From The Bride…We wanted our engagement photos to be timeless, in a location that will always have a special place in our hearts. Fort Fisher is not only beautiful, but holds countless memories for us…a walk on the rocks during our first date and the spot where Matt proposed just two years later. We couldn’t be happier with the result; the lighting was perfect, the photos are so romantic and Melissa truly captured our love for each other. After the session, we drove straight home, got in our pajamas and ordered a large pizza!
