This fun New York City couple brought tons of personality to their Savannah nuptials with bright floral arrangements, a rustic reception at the Roundhouse Railroad Museum, and plenty of silly photos to boot! From Ivory + Beau… This colorful wedding was seriously so much fun to help plan and Brandy is quite possibly one of the sweetest brides. This New York couple wed last October at Whitefield Chapel with their reception following at Roundhouse Railroad Museum. Jade and Matthew captured all the details of their wedding from their romantic photos out at Whitefield Chapel where their ceremony was officiated by Rev. Stephen Williams. We loved how much fun they had during their photos together, and you can really see how much they love each other, and love to have fun! Their reception was at The Roundhouse, and featured colorful bold florals that we got to do! Brandy looked beautiful on her wedding day in a pretty lace dress and we are obsessed with her bold lip color!
From the beautiful Bride… We live in New York City but wanted a Southern destination that, given my Southern roots, was easy for family and friends to travel to. We also wanted a place that had great food and lots of activities for our guests and felt that Savannah would be the perfect small town.
We both wanted to get married in a church but didn’t want a very large setting. We kept our guest list intimate and thought the Whitefield Chapel would be the perfect place to say “I do”. We also loved the simple beauty of the Chapel and that we didn’t need many decorations.
Our reception venue was perfect as we were going for a French Country feel. We wanted a warm and inviting setting and the Blacksmith Shop at the Roundhouse Museum had the rustic beauty yet an elegant charm.
