Rustic Mammoth Lakes Barnyard Wedding
With their rustic wedding set outdoors in gorgeous Mammoth Lakes, this couple had to resort to their rain plan, as a torrential downpour ensued right as they said "I Do." Thankfully, the rain didn't dash their spirits, and the sun appeared soon after, for a beautiful photo sesh with Coco Tran -- and their adorable pooch! Take a look at the rest of the gallery here, and let the sun shine in!
From the Bride... Teige and I met in 10th grade in our creative writing class. We had mutual friends and everyone adored Teige. I was so curious to meet someone with such an unusual name. He offered me a piece of gum and we exchanged numbers for a class project. We became incredibly good friends, and after only 2 months, I knew I was in love. When Teige proposed...he rented a boat in Mammoth Lakes, brought a cooler of Miller Lite and Doritos Chips. I didnt expect a thing. Then he put on our favorite song, got down on bended knee and proposed. He then pulled out the fancy cheese and crackers and a bottle of amazing champagne. It was perfect because it was so "us."
I grew up in Palos Verdes, spending days and nights playing outside and not coming in until the sun went down. I started riding horses and would spend all day every weekend at the barn with my friends. I absolutely loved my childhood. Teige moved to Palos Verdes when he was in the 6th grade. He started playing tennis when he was old enough to hold a racquet and played competitively through high school and college. We both went to USC then moved to Mammoth Lakes.
Although it rained so hard during our wedding, we braved the rain and said our vows during the downpour with our closest friends and family witnessing... it was truly memorable. Our wedding theme was rustic chic with country/barn accents. Bridesmaids wore mint dresses with brown wedges, Groomsmen wore dark grey suits with white shirts, brown shoes and brown belts. Flowers are a mix of wild flowers concentrating on bright oranges, yellows, pinks, greens, completing the rustic feel.
