These two are making my heart glow and swell with love. Maybe it’s they way she leans on him and how he smiles at her, but they’ve got me grinning goofy love smiles over here. Their L’Auberge Del Mar wedding day, planned by White Lace Events & Design, matches their love to a T. With blooms by Isari Flower Studio and a sweet sunset, Erin Hearts Court had plenty of photo opps to fill this stunner gallery.
From White Lace Events & Design…Gold sequins, olive branches and seaside romance surrounded Elise and Owen at their L’Auberge Del Mar wedding. Elise, stunning and soft with a flower in her hair and spring inspired shoes. Owen was dapper and cool in his tux – a power couple.
From the day we sat down with Elise and Owen, we knew that this wedding was something special. They met skateboarding, loved being outdoors and wanted to stay as far away from the traditional wedding flowers. It was everything gorgeous, wonderful and lovely. Tam from Isari Floral Studio created such masterpieces along the tables that encompassed lots of greenery, twigs, berries, petite trees and terra cotta beauty. It was an art piece that pushed the boundaries of wedding centerpieces and opened up a whole new world to the beauty of greenery and vases.
Above the u-shaped table large lanterns were hung to mimic the moon reflected upon the ocean and hurricane heaters lined the back of the terrace. No detail left unturned and each piece was thought out meticulously. Within the center of the u-shaped table, there were fire pits and lounge furniture that held beautiful throws and pillows. Towards the cozy time of the night, many laughs, cuddles and photos took up every inch of the benches. This night was something incredible and it was clear that only love, happiness and everything wonderful surrounded Elise and Owen.
It is weddings like these where White Lace Events & Design celebrates the relationship between the wedding couple and their personal details. Each wedding should always completely reflect the couple and their lifetime of love ahead—it is so magical, one-of-a-kind and absolutely incredible.
From the Bride… Owen and I share a love for traveling, and at times had fantasized of a small, intimate wedding in a historic European city. When it came time to actually get married, everything changed. In hindsight it was obvious this would happen; meeting for the first time as adults, we discovered early in our relationship that we both grew up in the same town, and on nearly the same street. Our hearts were in Del Mar, and it only felt right that it be here that we started our life together as a married couple. (Side note: If you asked my husband why we married where we did, he would likely have a different answer somewhere along the lines of “roots have no brains.”)
That simple decision set a beautiful path for the remainder of the wedding planning experience. Preparing for an intimate event – one so close to our roots, to be shared with our closest friends and family – quickly became an exciting experience I looked forward to each day. I am forever thankful for the energy and spirit our vendors brought to the experience. I was just plain fun working with them. And in the end, this team created a day for us where our only obligation was to enjoy the company and love of each other, our family, and our friends. It was perfect.
